I was given the challenge of creating a vehicle that was insect-like in design. I thought about it for a while and decided upon a submersible type vehicle. At first I considered a multi-terrain vehicle, land air and water and thought about which insects would best fit the vehicle eventually deciding upon a beetle. As I began mocking up designs, I quickly dropped the multi-terrain aspect and opted solely on a water based vehicle design.
